Welcome

"Life is hard, there's no denying that.  Two steps forward, always one step back."  This is the opening line to a song I wrote called, Once in Awhile.  The song speaks of the realities of living in our times.  Where, in spite of hard work, good intentions, well thought-out goals, and deep beliefs, unforeseen things happen around us and to us.  The song's bridge offers us a respite from the pains of life:  "Love can share a heavy load; lighten up the darkest road".

Sometimes "love" comes in the form of respect, dignity, and worth.  Sometimes "light" comes as insight, understanding, awareness, and wisdom.
